Orlando Pirates' Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo has shared a special message ahead of the eagerly awaited Soweto derby this afternoon as he hopes to make his debut in this historic clash in the South African football calendar.
Ndlondlo has been a livewire in Pirates midfield since arriving at the club last month from Marumo Gallants and is expected to be one of the Soweto derby debutants for Jose Riveiro's team at FNB Stadium as they look to stop Kaizer Chiefs in their dominance in recent times.

Speaking to Pirates' official website, the diminutive 27-year-old said he is ready and looking forward to facing Amakhosi.
"It is something that I have dreamt of. There's a special feeling about the Derby, and I really can't wait to be involved. Really looking forward to it," said Ndlondlo, speaking to Bucs' website.
Pirates haven't won against Chiefs in the league in the last three matches, having lost 2-1 in the second round of last season in March this year, while the first round match finished with the same score line and in favour of Amakhosi in November last year.

In March last year, Chiefs emerged as 2-1 winners, while Pirates had last defeated their perennial rivals two months prior with a 2-1 scoreline.
Ndlondlo says they are not bothered by the Buccaneers' recent disappointing record against Chiefs.
"It's not something we have paid that much attention to. We are aware of it, but hopefully I can be one of the players who help in changing that stat. It's important that we do well because we need to remind ourselves that we've been having a good run, and we need to continue with it. We may be building up to a cup final, but that's not what we're focusing on right now. We're only focusing on tomorrow's game for now, and we just want to win and continue performing well," concluded the attacking midfielder.
