Orlando Pirates' Mandla Ncikazi has sent an important message to the team regarding the highly anticipated Soweto derby this afternoon.
A lot has been said about Pirates and being the favourites going into match against Kaizer Chiefs after their impressive 3-0 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in the previous fixture in the MTN8, but Ncikazi has warned the Buccaneers to guard against playing for the occasion at the sold out FNB Stadium.

"I think it's important that we focus on our own processes, it's important that we don't play the occasion, but we play the match the way we have prepared. The confidence from our players…and if then we play that way, the consequences of us playing the way we have planned will give us the results," said Ncikazi, speaking through Pirates' media department.

"Happy with the preparations, happy with the players, happy with the confidence, happy with the surroundings and the environment currently. It's just focusing on ourselves, focusing on our team, focusing on how we want to play, focusing on our processes rather than focusing on the occasion. If we do that, then the result and the consequences of us having played that way will give us the result," the coach added.
