Orlando Pirates have hinted on the status of Thembinkosi Lorch and Vincent Pule ahead of the much-anticipated Soweto derby.
All is set for Pirates and Chiefs to clash in their first DStv Premiership match of the season on Saturday and news from the Buccaneers camp doesn't paint a good picture about Lorch and Pule.

The two stars have been disrupted by injuries this season, with Lorch having last played in August, while Pule was last in action on October 04 when he came on as a substitute against Sekhukhune United.
In previewing the Soweto derby, Bucs hinted that Lorch and Pule could still be unavailable due to their respective injuries, although the club didn't give much details, while goalkeeper Richard Ofori is said to have made progress.

"Pirates are without injury concerns of their own, with Thembinkosi Lorch and Vincent Pule nursing long-term knocks, while goalkeeper Richard Ofori has made significant strides since being stretchered off in a mid-month league game against AmaZulu," said Pirates on the club's official website.
Bucs will be without instrumental midfielder Miguel Timm due to suspension after he accumulated four yellow cards.
