Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Jody February will play a vital part in deciding which way he wants his career to go, according to his agent Mike Makaab.
With the January transfer window opening in a few days, there are players who are expected to make moves and those who have not been playing regularly could be given an opportunity to seek game time elsewhere to resurrect their careers.

Ronwen Williams is the undisputed number one shot-stopper at Sundowns, but there is a feeling within February's camp that he should be challenging for the number two spot which has mostly been occupied by the experienced Denis Onyango.
February was given an opportunity in the MTN8 earlier this season when both Williams and Onyango were not available for selection, featuring as a substitute against Polokwane City in the last eight and again in both legs of the semi-final against Stellenbosch FC.
He has not featured in the matchday squad since then. Instead, Sanele Tshabalala was on the bench when Sundowns recently took on Stellenbosch, as Onyango kept goal in the absence of Williams.
"Jody is a little complicated and it's obviously my intention to have a discussion with Mamelodi Sundowns early in the new year. Just like all the other players, one has to give the new coach an opportunity to assess all the players and then we can make a decision thereafter," Makaab said to the Siya crew.

"The player is the most important person in this whole equation. He is not getting any younger, but he is not old. If goalkeepers look after themselves, they can play well into their 30s. But the disappointing aspect of it is that I thought he did really well with the opportunities he was given and I thought that would have propelled him into a position to challenge for the number two spot. One has to be realistic and say unless Ronwen is unavailable or has a dramatic loss of form, which is highly unlikely, he will always be the preferred number one at Sundowns.
"But we have to assess the situation carefully and whatever is best for the player I believe we then have to do. Jody will play a vital part in guiding us as to what he wants to do going forward."
