Thembinkosi Lorch is approaching one year as a Mamelodi Sundowns player and it has not been a smooth journey for him at Chloorkop.
Signed by former coach Rulani Mokwena during the January transfer window last season, the former Orlando Pirates player has experienced little joy on the pitch in terms of regular game time.

For different reasons, he has been in and out of the team, but the Siya crew understands that there is still some hope to turn his situation around at the club.
This season, the 31-year-old has made six appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist. It's understood that he has struggled with injury at times this season, but his appearance in the Carling Cup All Star team against Magesi FC at Orlando Stadium would no doubt have given him a chance of featuring in the near future under new Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso.
Indications are that Cardoso wants to see more of Lorch and the player has been encouraged to work harder to get himself into the team.

Lorch last featured for the reigning champions in October, but indications are that he could be back in the team by the new year, which would give him a chance to fight for his place in the team.
