Moin Chaabani is one of the most highly regarded coaches on the African continent. During his time in his native Tunisia, the 43-year-old achieved incredible success with Esperance de Tunis, winning five league titles, two Tunisian Super Cups, as well as two CAF Champions League titles.
Chaabani is now in Morocco, coaching the Orange Boys, and his work there seems to be finally bearing fruit.
Berkane are currently sitting at the top of the Botola Pro Inwi and have already qualified from the Confederation Cup as Group B winners as they prepare to test themselves at home against Stellies this weekend.
His coaching prowess has led to the Tunisian national team courting his services. The Carthage Eagles have been searching for a new head coach since parting ways with Kais Yaakoubi in late 2024.
The 2004 Africa Cup of Nations winners have been linked with the likes of Hugo Broos and, more recently, Chaabani, but according to Le Site Info Sports, the trophy-laden Beja native has no desire to leave his project in Morocco to coach the national team.
