The back-to-back Premier League Golden Boot winner's previous contract with the Mancunians was set to expire in 2027, but the Scandinavian sensation's fresh terms will now see him stay at the Etihad Stadium until 2034.
With recent rumours of possible moves to Real Madrid or Barcelona circulating, Haaland has seemingly put those concerns to rest as he commits his long-term future to Man City.
In 2022, the prolific marksman emulated his father by joining City when he moved from Borussia Dortmund for €60 million (R1.1 billion). It is understood that he is enjoying life in Manchester, having recently welcomed his first-born child.
His life on the pitch has also been exemplary, having already won seven trophies since signing for the English giants and scoring an incredible 111 goals in 126 matches.

The nuances regarding the finances in Haaland's new deal remain to be seen, but it is alleged that the contract is among the most lucrative in sporting history and that there are no longer any release clauses in his new agreement.
Haaland is said to not just receive an increase in base wage but significant bonuses.
