Under the leadership of their ambitious owners and management, the team has made significant strides both on and off the pitch.
Their efforts to gain recognition in Mzansi's football space include a clever strategy – recruiting passionate supporters from established professional clubs to rally behind them.
One such recruit is the legendary Kaizer Chiefs superfan, Saddam Maake, who has thrown his weight behind the team.
Maake will be traveling to Phalaborwa this Saturday to support the Vultures in their crucial clash against Winners Park at Selwane Sports Complex.
The two sides met in November, where the Vultures secured a narrow 1-0 victory, much to the delight of the local fans.
Encouraging football lovers to attend, Maake told Soccer Laduma: "We are appealing to soccer lovers to come and support Selwane White Vultures FC in the match against Winners Park FC at the Selwane Sports Complex in Phalaborwa in Limpopo on Saturday. Superfans from the different PSL teams and all the supporters who are willing to travel to Phalaborwa to support the beautiful game are welcome to join," said Maake, speaking to Soccer Laduma.
"We have discussed it with club president, Noko (Norman Malatji), to arrange for the supporters from the different clubs to come and support the team in their numbers on the day. We hope that the weather will be perfect on Saturday and that there will be no rain. For those who will need more information on this and those who need to be assisted with directions to the venue, I am available to assist them," concluded Maake.
