Stellenbosch head coach Steve Barker revealed that Kaizer Chiefs players apologised to them for alleged bad officiating during Saturday's game at the FNB Stadium.
Amakhosi overcame Barker's side in a 2-1 win after goalkeeper Sage Stephens was shown his marching orders early in the first-half.
In the Glamour Boys' four consecutive wins prior to their win over Stellies, they had either a penalty in their favour or a red card, Barker credited Chiefs' players applying pressure to force mistakes, but was still left frustrated with some of the calls on the day.
Here's how the readers responded to the "Barker Reveals Chiefs Players Apologised To Stellies" story:
"Chiefs will never win the league or any other other cup," says arriejacobs89.
"If Chiefs put teams under pressure they are bound to benefit because that's the aim to make teams commit those errors," says Rio Da Khosi.
"Barker, don't blame Chiefs for a player who got a red, he deserved his matching orders fairly. No intimidation played a role there, look at Maela's experience at the derby. Why complain when you lost?" says thabanem.
