Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Orlando Pirates are weighing up their options on the future of Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou, who was signed during the January transfer window.

Soccer Laduma's Siya Crew pointed out that the Buccaneers could look to either loan or put Marou up on the market, with Siya Crew sources revealing that the 22-year-old has struggled to adapt to the systems at Pirates.

The youngster hasn't received any game time since joining the Soweto giants in January, despite being part of Cameroon's FIFA World Cup squad in Qatar last year.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Could Loan Out Cameroon Striker" story:

"The scouts Pirates use always mislead them when it comes to strikers from outside South Africa. Looking at what transpired with Peprah and Marou to say the least, Bucs was simply misinformed," says xemandla.

"Marou for me is not convincing. His touches and ball movement are not up to standard, he will struggle even if he can be loaned elsewhere just like Peprah," says oupa.phiri27.

"Being good in a different environment doesn't mean you'll be good everywhere you go. You can see that this boy didn't expect the way we play in Mzansi. Adapting will take sometime. Our game is quick moving and you can see he's not used to that. Loaning him out is a good idea," says jamesonngcoboj63.

"Ah just rumors, it's obvious looking at the squads that Riveiro mostly selects that he wants Marou in the team. We have seen this movie before with Dzvukamanja and others. Even Nyauza and Lekgwathi... rumors nje," says Slow_Poison.

"Our team is doing good right now, so the best thing is to loan him out. Please release Mpontshane, Makaringe, and Dlamini, I was shocked by the rumours that Ofori signed a new contract, what a COW," says @ThizaK.

"What is going on with our local scouts? I will exonerate Chiefs because teams like Pirates, Cape Town City, SuperSport United and Sundowns are blocking all players not to join Chiefs. As a result, they need to look out of the country.

"They tried players from willing sellers in PSL but they all failed. As for the foreigners they were flops. So Pirates and Chiefs though Pirates is enjoying doing business with Arrows, Chippa United; a change of scouts is essential," says Soccer Fanatic.

There's a potential hurdle in Chiefs' efforts to lure Nasreddine Nabi away from Young Africans (Yanga).

The treble-winning coach was set to meet with the Amakhosi hierarchy, who flew him out to Johannesburg with the view of him taking over the hot seat from next season onwards.

Nabi is reportedly keen on the Chiefs, on the condition that he can bring his own technical team to join him at the Soweto Giants. The 57-year-old joined Yanga back in 2021, amassing six trophies during his time with the Tanzanian giants.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Hurdle In Nabi's Chiefs Move Revealed!" story:

"Personally, I don't think the standard of our PSL and where he is are on equal level for us to expect him to deliver instant results. We've seen it with coaches such as Middendorp, the late Bibey Mutombo and Sredojevic.

"They came here with massive CVs only to find the going tougher than expected. I say bring him in but keep Zwane as one of his assistants. And recruit quality players who will fit into his philosophy," says xemandla.

"It is just talking, talking and talking, they wont get him," says peter95157.

"I wish you a good season coach," says captainmighty31.

"If Chiefs were serious about Nabi, money wouldn't be an issue. Our league is amongst the best in terms of salaries. They must stop being sentimental. If they want Zwane to gain experience they must loan him out and get the team an experienced coach like the above mentioned gentleman," says sizweking.
