News reaching Soccer Laduma's Siya Crew is that Sekhukhune United are keeping an eye for Orlando Pirates midfielder Fortune Makaringe.

Babina Noko, who drew 1-1 to the Buccaneers over the weekend at the Orlando Stadium, are said to be monitoring Makaringe's situation, with the club wanting to add more value to its midfield.

A separate Siya Crew source revealed that although Makaringe's contract only runs in July next year, the Sea Robbers are willing to listen to offers for the 29-year-old who's only managed 14 league appearances this season.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Sekhukhune Eye Up Pirates Midfielder?" story:

"There is something bothering the boy inside with low performance. Maybe a loan deal will make him wake up. Pirates needs players who are ready at anytime to produce the goods like Sundowns and Man City," says Bucs365.

"Don't sell Makaringe please, he is a good player. When he came on as a substitute he changed the game by carrying and moving the ball forward, he's an attack minded player so you can't let a player like that go," says mzizimike25.

"Makaringe is a gifted midfielder but he is lazy and doesn't take his game seriously, he was ok with Micho as a coach but since then he has slowed down in confidence," says oupa.phiri27.

There was more Orlando Pirates news coming from Siya Crew, with the Buccaneers looking set to promote Diski Challenge standout, Mohau Nkota.

The club is said to be in discussions to hand the 17-year-old winger a senior contract following a stellar season under Joseph Makhanya in the reserve team.

Bucs are planning on concluding the deal at the end of the season with plans to integrate the baller into the first team during pre-season.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Set To Promote Youngster" story:

"Here in townships we use to have an A-team, B-team, and C-team in each every club. I don't know why our clubs are not introducing structures like that? Our junior teams will be well developed if we can do that. Our national teams will be strong like we used to be," says mzizimike25.

"That would be good for the club, he's a good left footed player... but the players I thought were very good for promotion were the  Bophela brothers, especially the striker, he's good physically and he's got good pace," says tm19441.

"Bring him on!!" says lessporalibitso.

"Thank you couch. You are building your own team and winning at the same time. Not like the other team next door. Good luck, coach," says malandle25.
