Pitso Mosimane dropped a hint on his future after leading Al Ahli Saudi to promotion following to the Saudi Pro League in his first season.

Reports emerging from Saudi Arabia suggested that Mosimane's future in Jeddah could be in doubt, as Al Ahli have been non-committal with regards to whether or not they'll continue with Jingles in the Saudi top flight.

Mosimane is understood to have an option to extend his contract by a further year, that's if both parties agree to continue. The ex-Sundowns coach took over back in October, when the team was in eighth place in the league, and has now guided to promotion and a potential title with three games to go.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Done And Dusted: Pitso Drops Major Hint On His Future" story, where a Pitso tweet was shared, that could be interpreted as his farewell message to Al Ahli:

"Pitso will not opt for SA, not now. He's set his sight elsewhere. He's proven himself. He needs resources and decision. I doubt Motaung will allow," says Abuti.

"Shame, as usual Chiefs Fans are hoping for the best, they will go and find you another Selina and then go get more Sundowns drunkards where they will get guaranteed game time," says HelsTheMan.

"Coach Pitso please come and rescue Kaizer Chiefs. I will donate a portion of my salary to have you on board," says mpho1637.

"I wish he comes to Bucs," says @Normz.

"Jingles will not return to SA up until he conquers the EPL," says Isenkge.

"Hit and run Mosimane, perhaps your next project could be awakening the likes of Swallows or Chiefs," Charles Manyike.

Kaizer Chiefs are said to have tied down 17-year-old striker Vicky Mkhawana, who starred in South Africa's recent U-17 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.

The Amakhosi youth prospect is understood to have put pen to paper on a three-year-contract with the Soweto Giants already casting an eye to next season as the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season draws to a close against Cape Town City.

The versatile Mkhawana will follow in the footsteps of Samkelo Zwane, Wandile Duba and Mduduzi Shabalala who've all been promoted from the club's development structures.

Mkhawana, who can play both as a striker and midfielder, is set to be involved in the DStv Diski Challenge side and the first team if need be.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs Make Their First Signing?" story:

"They can promote these youngsters but they must get an experienced coach, like Muhsin Ertugral to come back and give these players direction.

"Zwane is clueless and if not demoted, he will lead the team to relegation," says jb@103.

"Chiefs management are really taking us supporters for granted and they're acting with impunity," says Rio Da Khosi.

"2023/24 will be another trophyless season," says Mpho P.

"This team is a joke. Another one from the creche. This team will not win any silverware anytime soon," says Saavedra.

"Shouldn't the KC hierarchy be focusing on acquiring a real head coach instead? Or is beating Bucs now all they live for?" says xemandla.
