Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Comments

Chiefs' final game of the season against Cape Town City at the FNB Stadium has the potential to be Arthur Zwane's last, with Amakhosi believed to be looking at who will be in the hot seat next season.

It's understood that Mangethe's future at Naturena is not completely safe as things stand, after Zwane, statistically, has taken charge one of Amakhosi's most disappointing seasons, losing 11 league games with one more game to go.

If Amakhosi to succumb to their 12th defeat against Cape Town City, Zwane's troops could fall down to fifth place, piling on the misery of a underwhelming season for the Glamour Boys.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane In Danger Of Following Baxter, Hunt, Co?" story:

"If you can take Mailula to Chiefs do u think he will perform the same way he performs at Sundowns? it's a big No for me. The reason is that Chiefs don't have good players. I am not saying Mailula is not good, he is good, but he is playing with the best players in PSL.

"Our problem is that we just buy any player, which is wrong. Chiefs, Pirates and Sundowns you can't say you are building on those teams, they just buy good players and promote 1 or 2 players from development not 7 just like Chiefs and expect them to win silverware, forget Mr Chairman.

"Get us good, experienced players and get rid of Saile and Caleb," says mlekeleli who continued his rant:

"Let us give Zwane next season and give him 5 games to win, we dont want a draw only 15 points, if he fails to do that he must leave early. Mr. Chairman, I beg you to support our coaches by buying them experience players so that we can see what they will be complaining about.

"Look at Sundowns and Pirates, they've got good players, they bought the likes of Timm, Ndlondlo, Xoki, Sibisi, Shalulile, Mbule, Mokoena etc. That's why they are playing good football, it because of those players.

"Sundowns promoted one player, Mailula and he is playing with experienced players. That's why he scores goals," mlekeleli adds.

"I feel sorry for Coach Mangethe, but it's like when Karma strikes, he forgets what got him at the helm, he was back stabbing experienced Coaches like Hunt and Baxter thinking that its gonna be easy, now he is reaping the rewards," says pgyakeni.

Chiefs legend Marks Maponyane has added his voice to the debate surround Zwane's future and what the club needs to get back to its glory days.

Maponyane suggests that changing coaches won't bring trophies back to Naturena and gave his impression on Chiefs' style under Zwane, pointing out that they lack the right flow, and they look lost in the final third.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Maponyane Suggests Missing Ingredient At Chiefs" story:

"Mangethe is doing a good job, it's only the players who failed him big time. As Chiefs supporters say, Chiefs is paying too much, how many players are getting fat cheques? If they pay too much on a player, why do they fail to buy players they want instead of complaining about Sundowns?" says user454193.

"In isiZulu there is a saying which reads thus, 'inxeba lendoda alihlekwa' (A man's wound isn't a laughing matter) - I don't see a reason to explain that to South Africans.

"What is happening at Chiefs is what was happening to Sundowns. The supporters are happy now that their team is winning. Should they start losing games, they will resort to what they did to Pitso. Let them enjoy for now," says Soccer Fanatic.

"Marks, you are irrelevant," says thabot.boshielo.

"Even if the bus is new you can see that he can't drive it since it's too big for him, he can only drive a Mini Cooper," says roykwinda1999.

"I agree with Maponyane, in this case the driver, Zwane, is driving isikorokoro. Chiefs you can't fire him. But if the bus is broken because he doesn't know about driving then you can fire him. Which is which Go Man Go?" says thulasmda.

"The only solution to Chiefs' crisis is to fire Bobby," says Saavedra.

"Me thinks firing uMangethe is an ambitious, which would rather prove to be a step backwards than it becoming a solution. The other thing we as Kaizer Chiefs supporters need to understand is that, we are living in the era of Mamelodi Sundowns dominance.

"Accept that and we would be at peace. I say this because to me, it seems to be another rooted cause of panic that needs to be outrooted from amongst ourselves. People tend to compare Chiefs successes to Sundowns. Let Sundowns do their thing, it's their time. Remember, no situation remains the same here. Our time is coming too!!" says mp.0631108292.
