Kaizer Chiefs legend Marks Maponyane has weighed in on the debate around head coach Arthur Zwane and what the club lacks to get their confidence back.
Zwane's first season at the club has turned out to be one of the worst despite being in the top eight after Chiefs lost 11 games in one campaign for the first time in the PSL era, following a 1-0 defeat to SuperSport United last weekend.

There is an ongoing debate on whether Zwane should be retained for next season and Maponyane suggested that changing coaches won't necessarily bring trophies, as the club will complete their eight season without an official silverware.
"That's the plan anyway, if you change him, who else? Let me take you back, you would know we've come as far back (Steve) Komphela, (Ernst) Middendorp, Gavin Hunt, you know, you can rattle them. What has been happening?" Maponyane asked on Radio 2000's Game On.
"And so you cannot think you're changing Arthur Zwane and suddenly you're going to get the first trophy," he said.
Amakhosi's all-time leading goal-scorer was further asked whether the problem is with the coaches and replied with an anecdotal quiz.

"Let me ask you the question instead of answering your question, if your bus is broken and people are stranded in this bus, do you change drivers or you just repair the bus?" he asked.
'Go Man Go' also gave his impression of Chiefs' style of play under Zwane and suggested they lacked the right flow and look lost in the final third.
"There needs to be a flow. It always looks very lost when it comes to the last third because no one has confidence and cannot take responsibility to put the ball in the back of the net," he went on.
"If you have not been scoring regularly, I cannot expect you now to be confident and do what you do best because you don't do it so it's not best. We can't put you and the best in the same line.
"You have to make sure you get that front row very organised because if you put the end result, that's when the confidence will build," he added.
