Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper William Shongwe says the club should beef up its technical squad and sign some players who fit head coach Arthur Zwane's style.
Despite Chiefs finishing fifth in the league with a unwanted record of 12 defeats, Shongwe believes Zwane isn't the problem and the players should shoulder some of the responsibility after a disappointing season.
Shongwe also questioned who's responsible for Chiefs' signings and that recruiting the right players for Mangethe will see an improvement in results.

Following the Siya Crew's report on a crunch meeting at Kaizer Chiefs regarding their head coach Arthur Zwane, with an insider revealing the latest on Mangethe's future.
According to the well placed Siya crew source, Zwane is set to receive a lifeline at the club and insider also revealed the club could rope in an experienced coach of Zwane's choice that will assist him.
Zwane seems to still have the backing of the Chiefs hierarchy, with the club wanting him to shape-up in terms of results next season with new signings, departures and potentially a new coach involved in the technical set-up.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane's Amakhosi Future Revealed?" story:
"Is Mnqithi willing to be an assistant to a junior Zwane? Let's wait and see," says sibo.mthembu.
"Mangethe will grow and Chiefs must learn to trust and have patience in one of their own, but it will take time," says sbudalut.
"Chiefs' management is very good the only problem is the useless fans. Zwane is a very good coach with vision hence the team wants him to appoint a Senior figure to help him with experiments," says pgyakeni.
"The problem is with the Management not Zwane," says NDLOVU.90.
"I think Morena Ramoreboli can even do a better job than uMangethe," says Shikabala.
"Mxm, I think it's about time they sell the club to someone willing to put a team where it was because this is just nonsense," says shabanguntuthuko.
"Senior figure of his choice! Is it part of his contract or Chiefs' discretion? If what is being said here is true, Chiefs is now bound for their ninth trophy-less season in succession," says matemane.
"Ooh no, technical staff of his choice? Disaster coming in the next season," says peter95157.
"We don't care about Zwane, the fact is that Chiefs will lose sponsors and all the supporters. I will never blame Zwane because he didn't appoint himself, Chiefs' management is failing all their sponsors, Zwane must be released," says mpsaul79.
