Bafana Bafana defender Siyanda Xulu had several offers locally and abroad before deciding on the SuperSport United move.
As first reported by the Siya crew at the beginning of the week, Xulu decided on accepting the SuperSport offer when he made the decision to come back to the DStv Premiership, with the Tshwane giants later confirming that the Bafana international penned a two-year deal with an option to extend.

When contacted for comment, Xulu's representative Lebogang 'Guluva' Mashishi of BN International Sport Agency confirmed that they had been inundated with enquiries for the experienced defender.
"Yes, of course, a player of Siyanda's calibre after the big season he has had with Turan Tovuz, and after also being voted among the top five players in the Azerbaijan Premier League, there were offers on the table," Mashishi told the Siya crew.
"The problem with the written offers I got was the geographical location of those countries and the competitiveness of the leagues, but the money was very, very good, I won't lie. The offers from the big countries were there but it was taking too long to finalise everything and time was running against us," the intermediary added.

AmaZulu have also been keen on the centre-back but despite attempts from club president Sandile Zungu, the 31-year-old was made an offer he couldn't refuse by SuperSport.
"Yes, we had talks with AmaZulu President Mr. Zungu and we are grateful to the club president for engaging us very professionally and being open with us, but the SuperSport United project made more sense for Siyanda," concluded Mashishi.
