Having been mainstays for Orlando Pirates this season, Thabiso Monyane and Nkosinathi Sibisi have reacted to the possibility of featuring in their first-ever Soweto Derby this weekend.

Not only will it be the first Soweto Derby for coach Jose Riveiro, but two of his regulars in Sibisi and Monyane are also in line to feature against Kaizer Chiefs.
With the spectacle often proving to be an overwhelming task for new players, the Buccaneers defenders are keeping their feet ahead of the highly-anticipated clash.
"The lads are in positive spirits, the mood in the camp is quite positive, quite great. I feel good. I'm in a good space, my first Soweto Derby. Yes, it's a very big game and I'm looking forward [to it]. I'm really hungry and I don't want to be overconfident, but I want to be levelheaded and do what the coach requires me to do, what the game requires me to do, and I am looking forward to game," Monyane told journalists at the club's Marriott Bonvoy partnership announcement in Melrose Arch.
Meanwhile for Sibisi, who looks a certain starter alongside Olisa Ndah, owing to his impressive performances in Bucs colours, says Chiefs remain a dangerous prospect, despite their indifferent form this season.
"If I play, I can't get ahead of myself but if I'm chosen to play, I promise the Bucs faithful to give my utmost best.
"I think like in any derby form counts for nothing. It's a big team Kaizer Chiefs and we cant write them off simply because they have been struggling for form because if they get a result against us, we'll be talking a different story so we have to take the game very seriously and by the way I've seen the guys at training and the attitude is positive and hopefully we get a positive result," he added.
