After overcoming Kaizer Chiefs over two legs in the MTN8, AmaZulu head coach Romain Folz has now turned his attention to their archrivals Orlando Pirates, for whom his side have no fear.

It might have taken the away goal rule to guarantee them a passage into the final of the competition, but AmaZulu have advanced to the showdown where Pirates lie in wait having overcome Mamelodi Sundowns with a convincing 3-0 win.
Now, as the two teams gear up for the fixture on 5 November, the young coach says he is backing his team to go toe-to-toe with the Buccaneers, with the two sides having played out to a 1-1 draw just two weeks ago.
"We'll be better by the time we face them [Pirates]. The more time you get to spend with the team trying to implement what you are looking to do, the more time you get, the better you are gonna be that's for sure," Folz told journalists.
"Regarding our chances against Pirates, we played them very recently on their field and I don't think we were below them at any point. Yes, the second half was difficult for us from a physical standpoint but its difficult repeating the effort from the first half," he said.
"[In the first half, I encourage all of you to re-watch the first half, if it was 3-0 at half time, I don't think anyone has anything to say, honestly. So, it's a very good team, just like Chiefs is a very good team but at the end of the day, if you want me to tell you that they are better than us or something like that, no. We are absolutely not scared of them or any team that you put in front of us. Bring whoever you want, and we will give our best, whether its Pirates or whoever," the mentor added.

"It happens that we are playing them in the final, they'll give their best, we give our best and we'll see who wins," he concluded.
