Orlando Pirates could be in talks with a Namibian international defender who starred at the Africa Cup of Nations recently, the Siya crew understands.
Soccer Laduma had previously revealed Pirates' potential interest in Riaan Hanamub, and Siya sources have now indicated how this reported interest has developed further.

The sources have added how AmaZulu and Bucs could be in talks as the latter club wants to improve their defensive department for next season.
"The talks started as soon as Riaan (Hanamub) came back from the Afcon tournament in Ivory Coast and it seems all parties involved are now rushing to finalise the deal because they want everything to go smoothly," said the Siya source.
"It's looking good because he is in his last few months of the contract which expires in June this year," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second Siya source has stated how AmaZulu bringing in Sifiso Ngobeni from Mamelodi Sundowns was probably in preparation for the possibility of Hanamub moving to Pirates.
"The club got Sifiso (Ngobeni) on loan but there is a possibility they can keep him permanently depending on what will happen to Riaan (Hanamub). So if talks between AmaZulu and Pirates go well then AmaZulu will negotiate with Sundowns to keep Sifiso (Ngobeni) permanently as well.
"So, let's wait for the talks (to conclude) then see what happens after that," the source concluded.
The 28-year-old Namibian has played 17 DStv Premiership league games and has two assists to his name this season so far.
Soccer Laduma contacted both clubs, Pirates and AmaZulu for comment but no response was received by the time this story was published.
