The Bafana Bafana international, who was first confirmed by head coach Manqoba Mngqithi during a post match press conference in the MTN8 almost two weeks ago, has been training with his new teammates at Chloorkop, though they are yet to confirm him on their social media pages.
Rayners has come under the spotlight recently for allegedly assaulting an individual and this has overshadowed his move to the Premiership champions.
Indications are that Sundowns have decided to let the recent matter die down a bit, to avoid the attention that would surround the announcement. Sundowns have also distanced themselves from the matter while it's dealt with in the correct way by authorities. Rayners, though, has been training with the club and is ready to make his debut.
