The Siya crew reported last month that KVC Westerlo on three occasions expressed an interest and tabled a bid for Maseko, which was declined by SuperSport due to it not meeting their demands.
At the time, the crew reported that Sundowns were lining up a €1 million (±R20m) offer for the player.
The latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Sundowns are believed to have won the race for the talented youngster – and have sweetened the deal with the permanent transfer of midfielder Grant Margeman to Matsatsantsa.
Maseko joins a host of players in Teboho Mokoena, Sipho Mbule, Grant Kekana, Aubrey Modiba and many others who have crossed paths from one side of Tshwane to the other.
