Since joining the Rockets from Cape Town City in the 2020/21 season, Seedat has been one of the club's most consistent players.
Injury disrupted his 2022/23 campaign, which saw him make just 13 appearances in all competitions; however, he enjoyed a strong finish to the season, featuring in all of Galaxy's last nine games.
The latest news reaching the Siya crew's desk is that the 29-year-old's time at the club will come to an end when his contract expires on 30 June.
Galaxy, the Siya crew understands, had an option to extend the player's contract for a further two seasons; however, it is understood that the club could not afford to do so, meaning that the former Lokeren player will be a free agent in just under a months' time.
When contacted for comment, Seedat confirmed that he will be leaving Galaxy after three years.
"Just before the end of the season, coach [Sead] Ramovic informed me that the club could not afford to take the option and I have received no notification that the option had been taken," he said.
"So, I can confirm that I will be leaving TS Galaxy at the end of the season. I would like to thank coach Ramovic, the technical staff, and Chairman for the faith he placed in me, and I trust that I repaid his confidence by performing at a consistently good level.
"As for what's next, I trust my agents to sort out my future in the coming weeks. I think the time is right for me to open a new chapter elsewhere," he told the Siya crew.
