The Soccer Laduma website was a hive of activity throughout the last week following the launch of the Soccer Laduma Readers' Player of the Season campaign, in partnership with Schick. If it was tough for our editorial team to come up with the list of 18 players they felt were among the best this season, then it was even tougher for our readers to decide who to cast their vote on, judging by the numbers each player got. Thousands of readers got voting for who they wanted to see in the next round of voting, and as a result, the list is now down from 18 to 8 players. All of these players are in with a chance to be named the Soccer Laduma Readers' Player of the Season. Remember, there are weekly prizes to be won, with a grand prize in the final round of voting, so you have to vote in order to stand a chance of winning.
HOW THE VOTING WORKS:
We are in the second round of our voting for the Soccer Laduma Player of the Season in partnership with Schick.
Based on your votes we have cut the players from last week's Top 18 to 8.
This week we'll be voting for the Top 4.
So, four players will be cut in this round.
In each round of voting, you will have six votes to cast - one vote per day.
You can use all six votes on the same player or spread the love and vote for different players.
Voting for Round Two will begin at 06h00 Wednesday morning and will close on Monday 5th June at 15h00.
At the start of each new round of voting, the voting scores of the players will be reset to zero so everyone starts evenly again.
