Kermit Erasmus has made a sensational deadline day move to the Buccaneers, on a two-year deal, the club confirmed on their official social media pages on Friday morning.
Speculation was rife about Erasmus' next move after falling down the pecking order at the treble winners.
However, it took the fraternity by shock when the Buccaneers announced the return of the stocky striker to the club. Erasmus spent three years with Pirates between 2013 and 2016 before he sealed a move to Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais.

"On becoming a Buccaneer once more, Erasmus said: "It's good to be back!", Pirates confirmed in a statment.
Erasmus spent two seasons with Mamelodi Sundowns, where he managed 10 goals in all competitions in that period. He also laid on seven assists for the club, having made a total of 43 appearances for the Brazilians.
With the club making a number of new signings in the transfer window, Erasmus found himself on the periphery at the club and did not make a single appearance for Sundowns this season.
