Bucs have failed to score in three successive matches against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first leg, as well as league fixtures against Sekhukhune United and Richards Bay FC respectively.
Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has hinted at a pending debut for Makgopa, while the mentor also provided an update on Kermit Erasmus who was a notable absentee from the matchday squad against Richards Bay.

"Evidence is now training with the group since maybe one week ago. So, it's close, (he is) now getting the rhythm in training with the group," said Riveiro, speaking to journalists after the weekend's match.
"Erasmus had a very small problem in Sekhukhune's game in Polokwane, so he was not available for today's game," the coach added.
