With Orlando Pirates having started their pre-season in Rustenburg, the club's fitness trainer has provided an update from the camp.
The Buccaneers have started their first camp in Rustenburg on Sunday and will be there until July 8, before heading to Spain for their second camp which will be from July 9 to July 21 where they are scheduled to play competitive friendly matches.

Pirates fitness coach, Miguel Bellver, has provided an update on the expectations for the Rustenburg camp.
"Our target in the pre-season is to set all the habits, so here being all together and being a group, we start to build a family and we need to become champions. So, here it gives us the cohesion and they start to build these habits and all of the small things. We have competition here, for example, we are going to compete against ourselves," said Bellver, speaking through Pirates' media department.

"The target in the pre-season is to push them to progress to the best condition and just to make us to be better than last season in the beginning of the first period. Last season, we didn't have the best of starts but we finished very well in the last phase. We are looking for this consistency in the beginning and for that we need to push them now and build the best team we can have," he said.
