He is a self-confessed die-hard Kaizer Chiefs supporter, but Casric Stars coach Joseph 'Bucs' Mthombeni will be hoping to extend Chiefs' eight-year trophy drought in Sunday's Nedbank Cup clash.

Having spent years following Amakhosi as a staunch fan, which included regular trips from Mpumalanga to Johannesburg, Mthombeni will have an in-depth knowledge about his beloved Chiefs.
Whether or not it will work in his favour remains to be seen as the two sides go head-to-head on Sunday at the FNB Stadium.
Speaking to the media earlier this week, Mthombeni confessed his love and adoration for Chiefs, which led to raucous celebrations from his players when they found out they were facing the Glamour Boys in the last 16.
"To be quite honest, I'm a die-hard Kaizer Chiefs fan, that's why these boys were waiting for this. After the draw, everyone was asking me questions, 'which color you going to where?' I said no, why are you asking me because I'm a Casric Stars coach and then they also wanted to see my behaviour. I say remember; I have chosen to be here guys. I'm at Casric Stars. That is why you see the boys were celebrating like this. They wanted to see when a child versus a fan, how it's going to be and that was the only thing that they were celebrating, let me just clear this thing because I'm a die-hard fan of Kaizer Chiefs," he said.
"During Arthur Zwane and Jabu Pule [Mahlangu]'s playing days, I was always driving from Mpumalanga to come and watch Kaizer Chiefs, I think that was the main thing I don't want people to think they were celebrating and saying Chiefs are an easy team. I know Chiefs is a big team. That was the only thing you see the players celebrating they said, 'yeah we wanted to see the coach when he's playing against his favorite team and what's gonna happen," he said.
