Head of Methodology and Academy at Mamelodi Sundowns Shawn Bishop is set to exit the club with the Siya crew being informed that a European move surfaced for the experienced coach.
Bishop recently returned from Portugal during the FIFA week where he continued his football education to complete his Masters in High Performance Football from the Faculty of Human Movement at the University of Lisbon – but it appears that he has left a lasting impression in the country.
While Siya sources have not indicated which club Bishop will next call home, the Siya crew understands that it is one of the county's biggest teams.
Bishop spent two separate spells with Mamelodi Sundowns, first for two years between 2011 and 2013 and more recently eight years at the club from 2013 to 2023.
