The story
Cape Town City midfielder Fortune Makaringe came up against his former side, Orlando Pirates, in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final, which ended in a 1-1 draw at the DHL Stadium on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old reunited with Eric Tinkler at the Citizens in June after six-year stay at the Buccaneers and produced a steady display in the heart of City's midfield in the first-leg.
After the full-time whistle, there were plenty of positive exchanges between the two sets of players and as expected, Makaringe was well received by his former employers.
