Following the tragic passing of ex-Newcastle United and Chelsea Black Star, Christian Atsu, a charity he was involved paid tribute by posting a wholesome video of his visit to a Ghana children's home.

What's the story?
The football world was rocked by the passing of Ghana's Christian Atsu after he was dead under his home, in a 12-day search following the devastating Turkey earthquake.
The late forward was well known for being a kind-hearted sole who never hesitated to give back.
A charity he was an ambassador of, Arms Around The Child, paid tribute to Atsu by sharing a video of him visiting a children's home back in Ghana.

Atsu charity pays tribute
Atsu was described by the global charity, Arms Around The Child charity as a, "beacon of hope, love and compassion," in a Instagram post of a video that showcased his charitable visit to a children's home in Ghana.
The home is run by an Non-profit Governmental organisation called Becky's Foundation. Based in Senya Beraku in Ghana, Becky's Foundation was founded in 2012 and is supported by Arms Around The Child.
Becky's Foundation looks after displaced children who had been trafficked for child labour. Atsu was a major benefactor to this charity and at the time of his passing, he was working on a project to build a school for the children in the area.

"Arms Around The Child were fortunate to have known Christian and will treasure his support for the children we look after, especially the children in Senya Beraku where Christian was building a school in the local community.
"Christian believed in giving children a brighter future and the opportunity to succeed," a spokesperson of Arms Around The Child tells the Independent in the UK.
The spokesperson went on to add that Atsu enjoyed playing football with the children whenever he visited and that he believed in providing a better future for them.
