Los Blancos are now reported to have set their sights on the English top flight as their primary market during the next off-season transfer window.
Real Madrid have predominantly moved away from their Galacticos policy in recent years, having instead focused more on signing prodigious young talent who can be moulded into world-class players, instead of competing with Premier League sides and state-funded clubs for the planet's best stars.
However, after some financial realignment over the past few years, it seems the European and Spanish champions are once again ready to splash the cash in a big way, and are keen to do so at England's biggest clubs.
According to The Independent, Manchester City's Rodri, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Arsenal's William Saliba are all on Los Merengues' radar come the end of the season.
In the case of the Spain midfielder, it is understood that Real will be pushing to replace retired German star Toni Kroos with Rodri.
The 2024 Ballon d'Or frontrunner may be an expensive mission given that he is still contracted at the Etihad Stadium for the next three years.
A player who is in the final year of their contract, though, is Merseyside native Alexander-Arnold, who has not yet agreed new terms with the Reds.
Having recently formed a close relationship with England teammate Jude Bellingham, Real are said to be hoping to land the Liverpool vice-captain's signature too.
As things stand, bringing the Englishman in appears the most straightforward signing of the trio.
A player on their wish list who may provide the toughest challenge to sign is Saliba. The Frenchman inked a new Arsenal contract last year. and the Gunners will likely want an exorbitant transfer fee if they are to sell him.

As a plan B to Saliba, however, Real have reportedly also been monitoring Tottenham Hotspurs' Cristian Romero.
