After years of waiting, Los Blancos fans will finally get to see the Frenchman don the famous white of the club.
It is understood Real have an elaborate plan to unveil the 25-year-old in a grandiose ceremony, much like the one they held for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.
The reigning UEFA Champions League and LALIGA champions have confirmed that he will be presented, alongside club president Florentino Perez, on Tuesday, 16 July 2024.
When the club's all-time leading goalscorer Ronaldo was unveiled to the world 15 years ago, he wore the No. 9 jersey, and Real have confirmed that Mbappe will follow in the footsteps of the Portuguese icon by wearing the same number in his first season in Spain.

The Bondy native is arriving in the Spanish capital following a poor showing at the 2024 UEFA European Championship, though.
The France captain and his team were eliminated from the competition at the semi-final stage by Spain, while he scored only once and provided two assists throughout the tournament.

At Los Merengues, Mbappe will be inheriting the No. 9 shirt from the likes of Karim Benzema, Ronaldo Nazario, Emilio Butragueno, and Alfredo Di Stefano, and if he is to hold the same allure as them at the Santiago Bernabeu, he will likely have to play a lot better than he did at the continental showpiece in Germany.
