Mbappe 'Still Wants To Leave PSG'

Mbappe 'Still Wants To Leave PSG'

Despite Kylian Mbappe publicly stating he does not want to leave Paris Saint-Germain, it is claimed the 23-year-old is still seeking an escape route despite signing a lucrative new contract with the club just five months ago.

Furious With PSG? Mbappe Finally Breaks Silence

After the forward arrived at the 2022 Ballon d'Or ceremony to jeers and loud boos on Monday, it appears the uncertainty surrounding Mbappe's future remains.

Supporters in Paris seem unhappy with the noise around the France forward in recent weeks, with a bombshell report recently stating that the France international has requested a departure from the French giants amid his unhappiness in the side.

The 23-year-old is reportedly annoyed by manager Christophe Galtier's insistence on using him as a central striker as he wishes to play deeper, while he is also said to be frustrated that promises made to him by the board were not kept.

Mbappe was believed to be ensured that a world-class forward would be signed so that he could be utilised as a creative influence, while it had reportedly also been agreed that Neymar, with whom he has fallen out, would be sold.

Although he has publicly insisted that the rumours hold no truth, French publication L'Equipe state that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner does, in fact, still wish to leave PSG.

The former Monaco talent has cut a frustrated figure in recent weeks, despite contributing to goals in both of the French giants' past two matches across the UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1.

Earlier this season, an on-field fallout with Neymar seemed to lead to more off-field trouble for the world's highest-paid player, who extended his contract in Paris in May following a strong pursuit of his signature by Real Madrid.

His decision to commit to a new deal in France left the footballing fraternity surprised by his call to reject the chance to join his self-confessed dream club, leaving many around Europe currently lacking sympathy for the PSG No. 7.
