The 22-year-old was sent on loan to Getafe in Spain's top division in August after Manchester United chiefs decided against reintroducing him to the first team.
Greenwood had faced charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control dating back to January 2022, but those were dropped in February this year.
Since joining the Madrid-based team, the forward has been directly involved in seven goals in the 11 appearances he has made across all platforms, with his most recent effort earning him widespread praise.
The left-footed attacker struck a firm shot towards goal after cutting inside from the right-hand flank in a 2-1 with over Almeria on Saturday.
