This past weekend, the Red Devils got their CAFCL campaign off to a winning start as they thumped Ghanaian outfit Medeama 3-0 at the Cairo International Stadium.
It gets their new continental expedition off to a positive start after African Football League disappointment, but there were some rumblings of discontent among the playing staff which surfaced after the encounter on the weekend.
This was said to involve Tau, who was believed to have refused to train with those who did not start against the west Africans, sparking rumours of a breakdown in the relationship between him and manager Marcel Koller.
According to Cairo24, however, the reason for the Witbank native's refusal to train was because he had a bruised foot.
As per the same report, a source at the club insisted that there is no issue between the Bafana Bafana talisman and his Swiss-born head coach.
"Percy Tau is in the red team's clinic for an examination following his complaint of a foot bruise, and he also underwent the Club World Cup photo session," the source claimed.
