According to The Athletic, highly-rated midfielder Zidane Iqbal is set to leave the 20-time English champions after failing to make an impression on Ten Hag.
The 20-year-old was tipped for a breakthrough campaign after being asked to join United's pre-season tour of Asia last year, during which he made five appearances.
Supporters liked what they saw from the Iraq international, but he was seemingly not able to show quite enough as he did not feature at all for the first team throughout the past campaign despite regularly featuring in Ten Hag's matchday squads.
Iqbal is now set to join Dutch side Utrecht for just €1 million (R20 million), having already completed his medial at the club.
