Manchester United have named their UEFA Champions League squad for the 2023/24 season, with a certain midfielder having been left out.

On Tuesday, the Red Devils revealed their European "A list" squad, as well as the players who are club-trained or association-trained.
Players who are club-trained or association-trained count towards a certain quota, while the "A list" makes up the bulk of the group and includes all of the club's new signings, including Sofyan Amrabat.
United have said on their website that the "B list" will "definitely include Argentina international Alejandro Garnacho", among other players who have been produced by their academy.
There was no place for Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek, however, with it believed the ex-Ajax Amsterdam man could still leave the 20-time English champions this month.

The "B list" can be confirmed prior to every Champions League fixture, as per the club's website, with United set to go up against Bayern Munich, Copenhagen and Galatasaray in Group A.
