Having failed to sell one of their stars in the past transfer window, reports suggest that Barcelona will try to get rid of him once again in January.

The Blaugrana will once again try to sell Frenkie de Jong in the January transfer window, according to Forbes.
The Dutchman was embroiled in a transfer saga that spanned the entire window as the Catalan giants desperately tried to offload the midfielder. The 25-year-old was reportedly open to a possible move away but wanted his deferred wages paid to him before he left the Camp Nou.
A move to Manchester United was initially believed to be on the cards for the ex-Ajax Amsterdam star as Erik ten Hag made it known that his former player was a priority target, and a fee of £63 million (R1.2 million) was said to have been agreed by the two clubs, but the wage issue proved a stumbling block.
Coupled with De Jong's eagerness to prove himself to coach Xavi Hernandez and the fact that United are not competing in the UEFA Champions League this season, the deal failed to materialise.
The Netherlands international does not appear to be considered an integral member of the team this season, having started only three of the six matches Barca have played, with Sergio Busquets, Pedri and Gavi seemingly Xavi's preferred midfield three at the moment.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich were said to be most likely to land De Jong's signature towards the end of the latest window, and they could still be interested, but with three months until the January window opens, it remains to be seen if Barca will find an adequate resolution to the deferred wage issue with the midfielder.
