Reports suggest that there continues to be unrest within the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room, with Neymar said to be unimpressed with Kylian Mbappe's latest antics.
'Messi Is The Best In History'
Considering the brilliant start they have enjoyed to the 2022/23 season, it seems all is not well at the Parc des Princes. Even after manager Christophe Galtier held a team-wide meeting to clear the air of any animosity festering within the squad, Neymar reportedly still resents Mbappe for what he sees as unnecessary drama between them.
It all started during the second matchweek of the Ligue 1 season, when Neymar took a penalty off the French superstar. The subsequent fallout between them made its way into the public eye, and the Brazilian believes this is Mbappe's fault.
According to Goal, there appears to be ongoing passive-aggressive tensions between the two stars, with Mbappe said to be unhappy with the growing influence Neymar is acquiring within the PSG squad while the ex-Barcelona attacker is becoming increasingly frustrated by what he feels are acts of selfishness displayed by his French counterpart on and off the pitch.
An example of this came in their opening 2022/23 UEFA Champions League match against Juventus, when the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner opted against teeing Neymar up for a tap-in and instead looked to bag his hat-trick, an incident the 30-year-old was less than pleased with.
The same report suggests that despite Neymar's frustrations with his 23-year-old teammate, he refuses to let his anger interfere with his play on the pitch and his behaviour in the changing room.
