The ex-Manchester United forward has struggled for regular game time since manager Xavi Hernandez's arrival in the LaLiga club's hot seat, having made just four appearances in all competitions this season.
While he had previously made it clear he wanted to remain at Barcelona, the striker is now open to leaving the Blaugrana to be able to get more minutes.
Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in Depay, who joined the Catalan side as a free agent in 2021, after the loan departure of Portugal international Joao Felix to Chelsea earlier in this window.
The clubs have reportedly discussed a potential swap deal involving Atleti player Thomas Lemar, but Barcelona have enquired about the availability of Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco.
