One of Manchester City's stars has become disillusioned with his time at the Etihad Stadium, and now reportedly wants to leave.

According to Relevo, Aymeric Laporte is unhappy in Manchester and wants an exit in the upcoming transfer window.
The Spain international has seen his playing time cut drastically since returning from knee surgery, and is said to want a return to LaLiga, specifically to join Barcelona.
The 28-year-old played all his professional career in the Spanish top flight before making the move to the Citizens in 2018, but now reportedly wants to fulfil his dream of playing for the Blaugrana.
The French-born centre-back has even gone as far as changing his agent in an effort to make the transfer possible, with the defender now represented by Arturo Canales, the same agent as Barca head coach Xavi Hernandez.
It is believed the Catalan giants are fans of Laporte and would welcome him to the Camp Nou, but if a deal is to come to fruition, it will likely only happen towards the latter stages of the transfer window as the five-time European champions have to see how their books are looking before pulling the trigger on signing the former Athletic Bilbao man.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola has always been willing to let players leave if they want to go, so it is likely Laporte will be no different.
Although the eight-time English champions would reportedly prefer to let their defender go to a club that is more financially stable, the same report claims the four-time Premier League winner wants to go only to Barca.

Juventus, AC Milan and Bilbao are also reportedly interested in signing him, but it is believed any move to those clubs will only happen if a transfer to Catalonia falls through.
