The 29-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic scoring season for the Lilywhites, having struck 26 times in 43 matches across all competitions so far.
His future at the club, however, has been called into question amid reports he will not extend his deal beyond 2024, putting teams such as Manchester United and Bayern Munich on alert.
According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils have already opened talks with the London club as they prepare to fight for his signature in the transfer window at the end of the campaign.
United are said to be eager to find out how much it would take for Spurs to accept a bid for their No. 10, whom the struggling Premier League side are hoping to keep.
Chairman Daniel Levy recently stated he believes Kane will have the opportunities to win trophies at the club, something he has not managed to do before, and also pointed out that the player's legendary status is of equal significance.
The Englishman went close to joining Manchester City in 2021, prior to Erling Haaland's arrival last year, after he attempted to force a switch to the Citizens by skipping training sessions.
Levy, known for being a difficult negotiator, ultimately refused to part ways with Kane, who has since become Spurs' greatest goalscorer in history.
