EPL Giants 'Enter' Race For Mbappe

EPL Giants 'Enter' Race For Mbappe

With Kylian Mbappe confirming that he plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain in 2024, a surprise Premier League side has reportedly entered the race to sign the superstar Frenchman.

We could be set to witness a blockbuster transfer involving Mbappe this off-season.

The 24-year-old has made it clear he will not be playing at the Parc des Princes beyond the 2023/24 campaign, putting Les Parisiens in a precarious position regarding their talisman's future.

The record Ligue 1 champions need to decide if they are willing to let their forward go on a free transfer next season or cash in on the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner before the window closes in September.

If the reigning French champions are to choose the latter option, then Real Madrid will be the favourites to land the pacey attacker. This will, however, be contingent on whether or not PSG are willing to place an achievable price tag on the France captain; if not, then the forward will likely leave Paris on a free transfer after the upcoming season.

Should the Bondy native see out his current deal, then English giants Arsenal will try to land the 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner's signature, according to Football Transfers.

The Gunners have already spent big on Kai Havertz and are looking at closing deals for West Ham United captain Declan Rice and Netherlands defender Jurrien Timber this week, but it seems manager Mikel Arteta is already looking beyond next season, having reportedly enquired into Mbappe's willingness to come to the Emirates Stadium.

The same report claims that the north Londoners are also willing to send the skilful attacker and his representatives a package in order to try to persuade him to make his way to the English top flight.
