Arsenal have reportedly had a stunning offer worth £105 million (R2.4 billion) accepted by their London rivals on Wednesday night, after Manchester City withdrew their interest in the player.
The Citizens are believed to have submitted a formal proposal for Rice's signature earlier this week, but saw their advances turned down as Arsenal remained confident of landing the Hammers' captain's signature.
Rice enjoyed an impressive 2022/23 campaign at West Ham as he made 50 appearances across all competitions, captaining his side to UEFA Europa Conference League triumph.

The news of the agreement comes after Arsenal, who finished second in the league this past season, announced the arrival of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.
