A Bayern Munich chief has admitted that losing one of their Manchester City-linked players is a possibility as the superstar approaches the final year of his contract.

Since graduating from the Bavarian giants' academy in 2020, season by season, Jamal Musiala's prominence in the first team has grown, with the German attacking midfielder now one of their most important players.
He has won all the major honours available in club football, playing a pivotal role in Bayern's recent success, so it is no surprise that the record Bundesliga champions a looking to keep hold of the Stuttgart native.
His existing deal at the Allianz Arena expires at the end of next season, and while the 21-year-old has insisted he is not actively thinking about leaving Munich, formal discussions over a new deal are understood to not yet have begun.
Having been linked with the likes of City, Barcelona and Real Madrid in the meantime, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl has now hinted that there is a possibility that the Germany international could leave if terms over a new deal cannot be agreed.
"It's difficult, but not impossible – as Jamal knows what he has at Bayern Munich. He grew up here and has brought himself to this level," Eberl told Sport1
