The Egyptian Cup Final between Pyramids FC and Zamalek SC was set for 20 May but Zamalek approved Pyramids' request to move the final to a later date.
The Sky Blues' request came after the team had qualified for the CAF Champions League Final against Mamelodi Sundowns. The first leg is set for 24 May in Pretoria and the second leg is scheduled for 1 June in Egypt.
Both sides would be happy to play the final on 5 June but Zamalek officials have reportedly targeted 11 June as a suitable date and planned to coordinate with Pyramids on the matter, a source told Yallakora.
"Zamalek has sent their approval to play the Cup final against Pyramids on 5 June," the alleged source said.
"A Zamalek board member also contacted someone within the Egyptian Football Association to push the match to 11 June, and coordination with Pyramids is underway," the source added.
The White Castle's preference for 11 June would mean star forward Ahmed 'Zizo' Sayed, who has been linked with a move to Al Ahly, would be unable to play at the FIFA Club World Cup with the Red Devils.
That means Zizo's only option to play at the Club World Cup would be to terminate his contract early at Zamalek.

Meanwhile, 11 June would also favour Pyramids as three of their stars (Fiston Mayele, Blati Toure, and Mohamed Chibi) will reportedly be with their national teams on 5 June.
