The Egyptian giants lost their CAF Confederations Cup quarter-final 1-0 on aggregate against Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC, failing to defend the title they won in 2023-24.
The loss was considered a shock to fans and members of the club and now Peseiro will have to wait to see what his future will be.
According to Yallakora, a source close to the club said the board of directors has not made a final decision on his future.
"No decision has been made regarding Peseiro's departure after the club's exit from the Confederations Cup," the source said.
The club's Board of Directors planned to meet with the Portuguese coach to discuss the loss to Stellenbosch. For now, it appears that Peseiro will not leave the club until the meeting.
