The story
It's only fitting that a baller of Masandawana star Teboho Mokoena's calibre is affiliated with an elite car manufacturer like Mercedes.
After a gruelling mid-week assignment in Tunisia against Esperance for the CAF Champions, the Merc-loving baller was able to take his mind off the stress of football momentarilly when stepping into a brand new G-Wagon.
Mokoena, who drives a pair of elite Mercs himself (V-Class & C-Class), was spotted at the launch of the brand's electric new G-Class at the AMG Driving Academy in Centurion.
In a post he shared on Instagram, the Bafana Bafana superstar is seen stepping into a blue, all-electric G-Class, the Mercedes-AMG G 850.
This ride is the first all-electric G-Class, and is priced from R4.6 million for the launch edition. As mentioned by Cars.co.za the two-tonne SUV takes off from zero to 100 kph in 4.7 seconds and runs to a limited top speed of 180 kph.
