CAF have reportedly taken a new decision after the unsavoury scenes following Orlando Pirates' CAF Champions League quarter-final against MC Alger.
The Buccaneers booked their spot in the semi-finals with a 1-0 aggregate win after the second leg ended goalless at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday night.
Choas ensued on the pitch after the full-time whistle as an Alger was seen in a viral video punching a Pirates official, which lead to a huge scuffle on the pitch.

While the scuffle broke out, there were also fans invading the pitch at Orlando Stadium after the game.
According to WinWin, CAF has now opened an official investigation on the incidents after the full-time whistle.
The report claims that the incidents were noted in the match commissioner's report, which includes clashes between supporters in the stands and Alger players attempting to assault officials at the stadium.
This is not the first time fans have clashed in recent time, as Mamelodi Sundowns and Esperance supporters were seen fighting during the first leg at Loftus Versfeld last week.
WinWin also reported that the CAF Disciplinary Committee requested a security report from Pirates to explain the reason for the pitch invasion after the clash.
Alger could reportedly face a severe punishment if the incidents in the commissioner's report are true, especially after they were sanctioned for a similar incident in the preliminary round against Tunisia outfit US Monastir in November.
