Ex-Chiefs Striker Released By Club After Two Months

The Burundi-born striker joined the Iranian outfit as a free agent in October 2024 following his departure from Libyan outfit Al-Ahly Benghazi.

However, the 27-year-old is now on the lookout for a new club after ending his stay with Zob Ahan Esfahan after just two months.

It has been a rough time for the former Kaizer Chiefs striker in Iran, having registered just four appearances in the Persian Gulf Pro League.

Bimenyimana's last appearance for Esfahan came on 21 December while he failed to find the back of the net in his time there.

The Burundi international is no stranger to short stints, having spent just one season at Chiefs while he spent five months with Al-Ahly.
